Very kind, thank you very much..

Well, I pretty much want to know everything I can dig up.

I have a pair of these. Well actually I have a pair of these enclosures... nothing more than that, no Drivers, no crossover networks, no binding poles, no "spikes", no front grills, nothing..

I was offered these enclosures..

And I have quite a like for them.. I was contemplating restoring them to their original state or if possible even better.

I was thinking of going all Seas on them..

What can you tell me?

Thank you very much....

Give me some time to dig up the documentation. I know I've got it somewhere, but am in the process of moving.

Hi

I recently bought a pair of C 809 speakers & find that they need a bit of volume before the sound opens up.

Will this change once broken in? How large a room do you need to house these speakers, mine is 18 x 28 ft with the speakers across one end?

If low volume performance doesnt pick up I may need to change to the C 803.

Any thoughts appreciated.

I had a full Jamo E400 series surround setup with a E4.2 sub. Those were my first speakers. Decent sounding speaker as I got them for half price. I have upgraded to Wharfedale Diamonds but still kept the sub. The E430 towers are being used in a second stereo system.

Pedro,

I have about 10meg of images for you about the Concert VII's from the users guide and a brochure. There's not a lot of "meat" considering you just have an empty enclosure, but at least it's a start. Let me know how can I get it to you (email, FTP, other?)

wassup guys,

i m plannin to get a yammy rx661 reciever & conect them to jamo s406 speakers(studio series)

want to get feedback abt this combination & will it be enough for my room, its ard 250sqft,

thanks guys...

I have S 406 HCS 1, 5 speaker package that includes S 406 floorstanders, S 402 satellites and S 40CEN for central. They are powered by Onkyo HT-R340 receiver. What can I say - the price for the speaker package (in Croatia-Europe) was 200 $ (new) but they don't sound cheap, instead they have very fulfilling, warm sound.

Of course, I would recomend the full package for DVD viewing.

I hope that helps!

--Regards,

I'm hoping to recommend this exact setup to a friend. But I'm basing my recommendation on reviews I've read.

To which speakers have you compared this setup before buying, if at all? What sub do you use?

How good are the center and dipoles in terms of voice clarity and surround envelopment, respectively?

Thanks in advance.

I just bought a 5.1 package which includes Jamo S 506 floorstanders, S 500CEN, S 502 rears and SUB 250 subwoofer.

Its connected to Yamaha RX-V463 and I am very happy with the sound.

Yes its a ground firing 8inch driver. Well to me it sounds punchy, but only comparable to my old Sony mini 2.1 system whose sub was slow and boomy. I can't really compare it to anything else.

This is my first decent audio system and I'm very happy with it
