Hi y'all,


I have decided to purchase paradigm for my speaker set. But i am torn between getting the Phantom or Legend speakers for the two fronts. The link below highlights some of the specs of both models.

I can get the more expensives Legends for an extra $150 or so more than the Phantoms. Are they worth it, or should I stick to the Phantoms? Is there anyone out there using Legends?

After doing a little more research I have discovered that the the Legends have an inbuilt sub. However, I plan on getting an SVS 20-39 which I think would blow the inbuilt sub straight out of the water.

And therefore maybe the Phantom will be better if you pair it up with an external sub?

If you were willing to spend the money on the Legend, why not consider the Monitor 7 floorstander. Its one line up in the Paradigm product family. Both the Monitor 7 and Legend have the same $749 MSRP.
