After many years of being a part of this forum, I've made some good friends. Our contributions are the heartbeat of what makes this a living, breathing community. Some participate to further their knowlege of the hobby. But more than that, you can and will build relationships with real people. I'm proud to be a small part of it.

So I got to thinking. It would be nice for us all to be more than a faceless name, a "ghost in the machine". Having a face to put with a name could help the community grow even further. Let's post a family photo. Some may not want to participate, but I hope that you consider it.

I'll start it off. It was really hard to find a photo of just the four of us, so you get one with the grandparents in it too.
From left to right are my parents with my boy Ethan. In the middle is my wife, Cindy, and then her Mother. All the way right is my boy Owen and me.

I hope we all have fun with this and that we can learn more about each other than a few dozen photos of speakers and sheetrock.

bad idea?
Good idea - haven't had a chance to dig up a picture. Problem when you're the shutterbug in the family is you have lots of pictures of everyone else (and theaters ;-) and none of yourself.
OK, here is a very unflattering one of me. Sorry about the size.

I went up to the EAA airshow in Oshkosh last month because they had a Boeing 787 on display for one day.

I worked on the power distribution system, and this was probably the only chance I would ever get to touch "my" airplane.

My user name, "mtbdudex", is from my old-old AOL account name in the mid 1990's when I raced MTB bikes 1995-2000, did National races 1997-1998.

Here's my "last" national level race, the 1999 Cactus Cup, ..... and my best place is 3rd place at NORBA Nationals in 1998:

A few lbs lighter back then, no wife/kids, just riding 4-5 days week, racing everyweekend....

Now, it's all about these 4 people in my life:

Me...have a laugh at the YouTube video I posted a few months back about making Superchunk broadband bass traps ....
