This will now officially turn into the sampo/zenith are "the best" sets thread. As long as you guys are happy with yours, that is what counts.

The new Toshiba was given a great review as well.

If only I could fit one through my hallway into my bedroom I think I would get it. Just have to wait until a sub 4K plasma with HD resolution is introduced ( I won't be holding my breath) In the mean time no HD while in bed http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/frown.gif

alright, it now officially isn't that kind of a thread... but it's still a good resource.

Well . . ... for those of use saving our pennies (to cheap to buy an issue) to buy new HD sets are you going to say who else made the list. I gather Sampo, Zenith, and Toshiba, but what models and whom else? Thanks in advance

To be clear, the review of the Toshiba in The Perfect Vision is for the 56H80, this year's model (as Elvis Costello might say).

Don't know too muc about the new models, but I'm going to take advantage of the low prices now.
