After so many helpful comments about weither or not to pick up Resident Evil 5 I have another problem that only the vast knowledge and experience of AVSforums members can solve.

Which game should I play next out of my perpetual backlog? I think I spend more time reading up on games that I do actually playing them and could use a kickstart from someone in the know.

I encourage everyone to post a list of games in their backlogs so that others can just quote their post with a reccomendation or two, keeping things easy to follow. A short list or recently played games might also be helpful to others so they know more about your gaming habits and can better help you out.

Now let's see those backlogs everyone!

I wish I had only 4 or 5 games to play. At the moment I have around 35-40. So yea, no new games for me for a while.

But go with Assassin's Creed 2, because its clearly the best game on that list.

Another vote for Heavenly Sword. It's short, but the dialogue and voice acting rank up there with Uncharted; some of the best I've ever heard in a game.

You have just enough time to finish UC2. Great game IMHO.

ssowinski and everyone else.

Make sure to put Fallout 3 on those lists. I'm about 10 hours in and while it starts slow [tutorial hour], it becomes quite epic. The amount of detail in the game is insane, with a map of DC and the burbs prob 2X as large as GTA:SA.

If you have another gamer in the house DO NOT play Super StarDust HD. The hours will fly by and you'll be dreaming about it at night. Very addictive - it's a "one more try" kind of game especially co-op.

Seriously though, put a few hours into making it to the end, even if you have to do it on easy, then compare you scores online. If that doesn't hook you then I give up.

Haven't tried Pixel Junk Shooter yet.

I heard Fallout 3 was a slow burn. Sorta like cheese - gets better with age.

Demon Souls is also very much like that.

Seems like you can't get to your backlog right now since you're playing through a ton of games right now! Finish those, then play Fallout!
