I just purchased the DTS Dvd (i know, i should have gotten the SACD) of Every Breath You Take by The Police and it will not play in my Pio DV-525. It plays fine on my laptop. In trying to figure out what was going on, I noticed that it is a region 0 DVD (region free??). I was under the impression that region 0 discs play everywhere. WHen I put the DVD in, the player displays "DISC CANNOT BE PLAYED". I have never seen that before, and am not sure what to do. TIA for any suggestions. I had heard about a region mod for this player, and was wondering if that would solve the problem

All DTS cds (not DVD-Audios) will play on a cd players using digital outputs only. I have this disc & it is a DTS disc not dvd. Try it on your cd player.
