The Quiet - Strong and disturbing sexual content
The Quiet a different, offbeat movie about Dot (Belle), a young deaf and mute woman, who is sent to live with her godparents (Falco and Donovan) and their daughter (Cuthbert). The new addition to the household realizes that everything is not copasetic in the home, and the family's dark secrets come to light.
Some will like this, most probably will not. I found it interesting and it kept me entertained throughout but I like different, offbeat movies with strong and disturbing sexual content. The least you know about it going in the better, it's best to view it not knowing any more than what I've quoted above.
Film rating on IMDB is a 6.7 and completely the opposite on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics 22% and 12% from 'Cream of the Crop'.
Love it, hate it, whatever, it's worth a rental if for nothing else but Edie Falco's topless scene... that is if you would like to see Edie Falco topless.
