I hope this doesn't become like a joke that you have to explain to a deadpan crowd, but... I followed your link and saw the same "hosted by angelfire" image. I appreciate creativity so I hope I get to see the real image.

OK I guess I am stupid, but this hosted by angelfire doesn't make any sense to me.

Right-click the link and save it to your hard drive. You can then see it in whatever image SW you have.

I seem to remember some sort of short film in the early 80's shown inbetween movies on HBO with this same theme. It was pretty funny, I think... http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/wink.gif

I think it's not showing up probably because these

freebie web hosts (i.e. Angelfire) no longer allow

remote loading. I would put it up on my ISP space

([email protected])but their file upload service has not been working for the last couple of days.

p.s. don't know about the 80's short. I put the picture

together from pieces of movie posters. The image of the person in the chair is from an ad in PC magazine.

If you work with anything that results in a lot of

wire, cable etc. you may can relate. I feel like I

spend half my working hours untangling and fighting

with wires. Sometimes I get so stressed out by it

that I cuss the wire. And it's getting worse. The more

technocrap I have to deal with produces more and more wires.

It's now in the back of my mind that one day these wires are

going to get a mind of their own and slip around my

neck while I'm asleep.

Looking at the picture again, It is a little different from the file I saw. In the film, it was actually FILM that was going around like a monster and finally captured and ate some guy. I think it spit out his shoes in the end. I remember we would turn it to HBO at the end of each regular movie, hoping that it would be on. If I remember right, it was only 2 or 3 minutes long.

I'm still unable to see the intended image, but does it look anything like the back of my rack ?

I can sympathize. Sometimes it almost seems as if the wires have a mind of their own. I recall seeing the same short with the film attack. One of those gems.

BTW - I tried right clicking and saving the image. Got a nice Angelfire logo.

I just emailed the jpeg to everyone who could not view

it (sorry, piney but I didn't have your email address).

Like I said it's just a silly thing so don't have too

high expectations.

p.s. Larry, why are some able to see this link but

not others. Is it because of different browsers or

instead something Angelfire might be doing?

Bob,

This is something that happens a lot. Some people can access a website, some can't. Some can see images, some can't. I have all cookies and referrals blocked to Angelfire. Maybe that has something to do with it. I really don't know.
