Has anyone ever tried setting up something like Dragon naturally speaking, with a microphone and some macros, and integrating it as a remote?

That would be cool, to watch a DVD and just say "Pause!" and it would pause, "Menu" for the root menu, etc....

You would have to keep the mic near you, but I wonder if it would work.

You could even take it as far as having a macro for instance to auto play randomly selected music. Like say "Pearl Jam" and it would cycle through your Pearl Jam library.

Any other ideas? Ga anyone tried it?

Would work wonderful, right up to the point where the actor in the movie that you're watching yells "STOP!" and the movie screen goes dark... :D

Microsoft Plus! for XP has this feature. It only controls Windows Media Player and will only respond to one voice profile at a time. To teach it to learn your voice pattern, then can talk freely to it. Commands like "Hey DJ, play pearl jam" work well.
