Cj has been great for the AVS community with his fair and balanced responses on various questions. He has always been helpful and honest. Allowing him to return would be a great benefit for all of us. Both sides have appreciated Warner's efforts and we'd certainly appreciate CJ's return to the community even more. It surely hits a home run for a studio or CE when people in the A/V enthusiast community can directly interact with the people responsible for the product.


I'm hoping that my post and the many others you'll see in this thread, in support of Cj's return to AVS are enough for his much welcomed return to the community.

To any Warner execs reading this thread. CJPlay represented what was unique and useful about this site. Please let him post here again. We could use more guys like CJ, so others at Warner are very welcome as well.

Please allow CJPlay back so that we get insider information about both formats from an objective, fair source that we (excluding mean people) all respected. We are the people that actually buy your products and love how great they've been. I personally own only WB titles for HD DVD (am considering some Universal and Paramount).


CJPlay has been instrumental in understanding your offerings and with your new disc format, I'm sure we all have plenty more questions. CJ may not be able to answer them all, but he sure did provide a great understanding of the encodes and all that technical goodness that AVSForum thrives upon. I think bringing him back will help alleviate much of the rampant fanboyism as facts and rationality are the "silver bullets" to a rabid fanboy.


Please take this petition as the voice of many enthusiasts across the globe that buy your software like candy.

CJPlay has represented himself and your company with the utmost in respect. He has, to my knowledge, never given up any NDA material. We "need" open lines of communication between the enthusiast and companies like yours and CJPlay and employees like him are the best conduit for this type of communication. I hope that you will reconsider and take the muzzle off our our dear friend. Thank you.
