BTW, HBO's website doesn't list it as HD, but it doesn't list The Sopranos as HD either.

None of the HDTV-schedule websites are indicating it to be in HD, including HBO's page. But none of them indicate the Sopranos is in HD either, which it is!

I guess we wait and see.

Looking at the info for this show on the Dish 6000, it says "HD". Maybe this is "Untrue HDTV" and HBO should show it as such on their web site.

It seems that everything on the 6000's EPG for Chan 9440 (HBO-HD) says "(HD)". Laziness. Period.

I started to watch it but quickly lost interest because of the 4:3 framing and low resolution. ( Yep, I'm spoiled by HDTV)

Too bad, it might be a very good show.

It's too bad that HBO is not showing some leadership by presenting it in HDTV.

Yes I'm getting really tired at this point in time seeing companies like HBO screening a new series in 4:3 on their HD channel.
