I'm good with this one as long as they don't bring back the dreadful Diana Ross as Dorothy. I know Barry Gordy was basically blackmailed into casting her into that role over the young teenage Broadway star, Irene Cara at the time. But it was the worst job of movie casting I had observed. The other characters were inspired choices. But Ross was awful. And the adult juxtaposition of Dorothy was epic, stupid. I hope they get the casting right on this one. The Wiz or Wizard of OZ should be about a young girl's journey IMO.
