The Wiz is finally closing ALL of its remaining stores that didn't close last september. Everythign will be 30-50% off. There are 2 weeks remaining. I myself will wait for at least another week before I go. They will probably drop prices on everything there even further as time goes by, but then they will have less in stock. For anyone that has been waiting to buy an HDTV this could be a great time to do it.


Personally I'll probably pick up another reciever since one of mine doesn't do Prologic II.

I just picked up a Sony 57 inch (KP-57WS500) for $1749 at the Wiz in CT.


I'd already decided to get that model and the cheapest I'd seen was $2300.


I probably should have waited a week for them to knock off some more but it was the last in the box one they had.


I'm moving to Detroit so I won't be able to open it for a couple of months but the good news is Comcast has HDTV in Detroit.
