TheaterTek usually works fine for me but on some movies it reduces the 6X9 image to about one half the size and puts it in the middle of the screen with equal size black borders all around.


Titantic is an example of a movie that I have this problem with.


If I activate the TheaterTek menu while the movie is playing and try the aspect ratio sub menu nothing changes when I try the various aspect settings.


Does anyone here know the solution to this problem?

Titanic is a non-anamorphic 'Letterbox' movie for which you need to define the Letterbox AR in the TheaterTek Aspect Ratio editor. Bring up the editor while the movie is playing and click on the 'Letterbox' setting. Now zoom out the image until it fills the screen. Finally click Save.
