Pull the speaker grill off, then there should be 4 screws under the screen frame.....remove them the the screen should lift straight up to remove. There will be some wires connecting the control panel to the tv so do not stretch it very far.

There is a handprint on my screen
I've had a Mitsu ws-55413 for a 2 months now. But last night I noticed a handprint on the screen. It is only visible from a 45 degree angle in reference to the screen. I tried to gently wipe it off, but it seems as if it is on the inside. Any chance of a handprint on the screen from the manufacturer? If so how can I fix it?

If that's your only issue with the MIT and you cannot see from viewing position, be thankful.
I personally would not attemt to remove screen, just my ,02 cents.
