I'd like to get a dual tuner sat DVR, D*921 or HD Tivo, keep the HD in one room and digitize and stream the rest over ethernet to the thin clients. I'd also like to play back DVArchive or MP3 media.
Motivation is to save the cost/overhead of additional outlets and/or media.
I chose this forum, because it seems that much of the experience with thin clients and streaming resides here.
Does anyone know about media software to do this with an HTPC as a server?
