Thinking of going media

Was first told about fireball but was warned that the player and processing wouldnt be as good as my denon 5900 player he then suggested going media with a PC to house all my movies and play them.


Is this really better then using the actual disc and a high end dvd player.Is this media player able to play blu-ray and equally as good as the pioneer elite and denon player?
