This year Seymour-Screen Excellence is raising the bar with its demo partners ASCENDO, StormAudio, and RowOne Entertainment Seating. Seymour-Screen Excellence's flagship Enlightor-Neo 4K immersive cinema screen takes center stage in Cinemascope at 12 feet wide. The brand's Reference Fixed Series and Infinite Black Velvet borders will frame this acoustically transparent 1.0 gain HDR screen surface. The experience will also include a Barco Residential Njord Cinemascope 5K 3-Chip DLP projector and high-performance TLD+ short throw lens, as well as a madVR Envy Extreme video processor. This combination will illuminate the screen at around 9,000 ANSI lumens!

This 9.4.6 channel demo speaker system will be provided by ASCENDO. This demo will also feature the CCRM12 MKII active LCRs, the CCM10-P passive surrounds, a combination of CCM6-P and Passive Wedge monitors, and four active SMSG21 21-inch sealed subs anchoring the bass. Outside the Sound Room, a 50-inch SMSG50 infrasonic sub will be on display.

The audio system is powered by StormAudio's new ISP Elite 24 Analog MK3 Immersive Audio Processor (a 2022 CEDIA Expo Best New Hardware Product Finalist), which provides up to 24 channels of Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, Auro-3D, and IMAX Enhanced decoding and upmixing. Additionally, the ASCENDO side, rear, and top channel speakers are powered by StormAudio's Class-D (200-wpc @8 ohms) PA 8 Ultra and PA 16 MK3 amplifiers.

The Sound Room will feature the Revolution model and the new Cortés model, two of RowOne Entertainment Seating’s premium chair styles. Top acoustics calibrator / HAA teacher Adam Pelz of Bespoke Cinemas and ASCENDO partner and R&D/sales/marketing director Geoffrey Heinzel will do the on-site audio tuning. Chris Seymour, Managing Director of Seymour-Screen Excellence, and Barco are in charge of the video fine tuning.

Be sure to stop by and check out this awesome experience. It’s located in the Sound Room SR2 at CEDIA.
