Yeah was gonna order my stuff for a THT build, and low and behold both my needs are not available for another month.

This was parts express by the way.

Any other reputable suppliers you guys know of?

On a side note I was wanting to give some money for goods to monoprice and they were down.

Damn my luck I say!!!

I have 2 days this weekend with no wife or kid and wanted to either close my walls up or build a sub. With emphasis on the sub. (not looking foward to double drywall.

Just go ahead and build it but don't put the top on till you get the driver.I think the cut out for the driver is 13 7/8" but don't trust me on that.

Figured that would be first post.

So yeah build a box I cant hear, or try to sheetrock with half of the wires ran.

If it's not someone that works for me delaying my builds greatness, it's the internet suppliers.

Dont befreind me as obviously nothing in life will ever get finished.

The LAB 12 driver will work in a smaller THT. What size are you building?

I know, I know.

I have plenty of space to do it right with a 24" plus.

It's just a matter of how much is too much. Figure I best join the fray and find out what is what ya know?

See if you can find a tempest classic on ebay or something. That is the driver the THT was designed around. The dayton DVC is just the closet in spec to it and what we use since the tempest classic is no longer in production. One of the other dayton 15"s work just fine its either the HF or HO not sure but i know someone around here used one with success. Maybe its not a total loss if you can pick up anyone of those!

Where are you located, Putputpanorama?

And what was the second thing you needed that PE was out of?

Nevermind.
Here is the Dayton DVC at Ebay for $154 with free shipping.

Only $5 more than you'd pay at PE, but without the wait.

It says 4 are available.

You should contact the seller and request an explanation.

If you don't get satisfaction, you should let Ebay know something weird is going on with this seller.

How weird?

Well, now they show that they only have 3 left in stock.

It was 4 before you ordered yours, paid for it, and then got an unexplained refund.

On the paypal mail thing it said it was explained in the email.

Of which I didn't get, so I write him tonite, nothing back yet....oh well.

I'd guess either he didn't have them to ship (nobody does) or is not going to ship to a PO box. (explained in a prior email that shipping ady was different)

Seems I better work Kanaris.
