My projector may have some burn. There are two lines on the screen on up one down. Its kind of like the bars you see on 16:9 movies. Looks like a movie was watched with bars. But the thing is, I never watched a movie with bars. What could be the problem. The bars werent there befor either and the image size has stayed the same. Mybe my family beens scewing around with it? If not, what slse could cause bars? And how long untill it becomes burn in?

If the bars were not there before, what was the last thing you did before they appeared?

Post a pix. Pull the lenses off and see if you can see them burnt into the tubes. What make and model of set?


I doubt this is burn, do the lines shift when you move the raster? Can you use blanking to get rid of them?
