Putting together a 2.1 systems. I will be listening to mostly Rap/Hip-hop music, and i'm finding that the only stereo receiver/amp that supports a sub-woofer output is the Yamaha RX-797.

I need the sub woofer because i listen to mostly Rap/Hiphop music and the bass does not get low enough on any of the bookshelfs i have auditioned. I am more than likely going to be driving B&W 685s with a cheap sub (these sound the best for rap music in the price range...auditioned Paradigms Monitors, Klipsh, Def Tech(going to audition focals next weekend...then make the decision).

Anyone with any feedback on the RX-797 would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Look at the Harman Kardon Stereo Receivers both models offer dual subwoofer outputs. The NAD C720BEE also offers a subwoofer output. The Onkyo TX-8522 may have one as well. But the NAD and HK definitely have this feature.
