Can someone confirm the throw ratio (in terms of screen width) of these projectors? I only ask because I was going off of ProjectorCentral which states "A 100" diagonal 16:9 image is achieved from a throw distance range of about 11.5 to 14 feet." This gives a throw ratio of 1.5 to 1.9 screen widths and this does not match the throw ratio on the Nexgen data sheet which claims about 1.3 to 1.6. Can anyone confirm with actual throw distances? Thanks.

As an HD50 owner, as well as a quasi-authorized dealer, I can confirm the throw ratios for you. Also, it is my understanding that projector central's throw data on this unit is wrong.


According to the calculator provided by Studio Experience, the ratio of screen width to throw is 1.3-1.6. So, on a 100" diag. screen at a 16:9 aspect ratio, the throw is between 9.72' and 11.66'.
