Hello Fanatics,
"Thumper" just finished performing his magical 'Mods' on my venerable Davis DL-S8 (DLP, SVGA). If you want details about exactly what is involved, do a search under "Thumper". Today's post is to tell you how pleased I am with the results.
Since receiving the projector back from Thumper, my wife and I have watched several films that we feel we know well. In each case, color depth and accuracy were notably improved and the overall clarity of the image was apparent. As I told "Thump", his modifications increased our enjoyment of movies in our library. You can't ask for more than that!
If you own an "older" projector and would like to get a little more "mileage" out of it before moving on, I'd recommend contacting Thumper and having him modify your projector. It's money well spent.
