Thx to all-Z2 Final Decision

Spent countless hours reading these posts and I can't tell you how helpful they are. This is my first projector and I found a Z2 with low hours on it which had just been taken in for a service tuneup. I really wanted a Panny 700 but like a lot of others I am new to projection and just didn't want to spend the money till I knew it was the right way to go. Plus the way the technology is going if I hold on to the Z2 for a year there will be plenty of things to buy. I needed lens shift for my setup and the Z2 fit what I needed. Yes the Panny 500 was probably a better choice but all of us have to make choices for certain features. Z2 cost me roughly $1000 less then the Panny 700 and what the heck, I can always sell it on Ebay without losing my shirt if I want to upgrade. Again, thks to everyone in this forum and its now an everyday read for me. Geez, gotta go to the Receiver forum and figure what to power the Projector with.
