Not sure if this is where to post. I just got a new onkyo 3007 and there are a ton of sound settings. I used to use ultra 2 select on my pioneer elite. The 3007 has Ultra plus but the THX website recommends this for a 3000 cu ft room. My room is a dedicated theater with traps, false wall treated floor to ceiling and the first two feet floor to ceiling as well as some diffusion in the rear. The theater is 22 long by 12 wide by 8 high. Any insight would be great.

There is no such thing as "Ultra 2 select". There is Ultra 2 Plus and Select 2 Plus. The Ultra 2/Select 2 THX certification only relates to how loud the system will play in certain size rooms.
Use whatever setting sounds good to you. Ultra 2/Select 2 surround modes are identical.

More correctly ... how loud the system MUST play in order to achieve reference levels in a room of that volume. I know...just a nit.
