I just bought a TIVO HD and cannot get my Sony KDS-55A3000 to "connect" with the HDMI from the TIVO. It works through the component lines, but asks me to disconnect the HDMI cable due to a lack of compatibility. Are there known issues with this combination that can be addressed with some settings or firmware/software updates? Thanks in advance!

The TivoHD may not have the lastest FW installed. It may take a day or 2 for it to get downloaded. I'd check to make sure if you have the latest FW. You should check in the Tivo Community forums: http://www.tivocommunity.com That being said, you're really not losing anything using component for video.

Thanks. The issue for me is I want to use the TIVO with my AV system or just with the TV (AV Theater off) for certain applications. I had run the HDMI to my reciever and the component lines to the TV. With HDMI dysfunctional, I cant run my receiver with the TV.

I havent found a lot of help as yet on the tivocommunity.com forums. I am having issues getting "activated" to post a new question.
