Not possible.. The Tivo just doesn't have enough processing power to handle such things, never mind the fact you would have to write drivers for the freeware programs to be able to use the Tivo hardware.

How can I convert my Tivo so it can run Freevo, MythTv, or any other freeware PVR programs?
