I noticed pegasys released an update to TMPGEnc 3. I went to download the patch and looked at the release notes.
It says;
"Added - [ .dvr-ms]: Supports import of TV recordings ( .dvr-ms files )created with Windows XP Media Center . Metadata (TV show information) can also be imported."
So I wonder if you can recompress the shows to mpeg2 or what ever without using some other program to change it from dvr-ms. I don't have MCE so I can't try this. If anyone can it would be good to know.
