Sounds good. I like rumors. They keep me warm at night... ;)

Thanks Ken, I think any info on this is wanted (confirmed or not). Have you heard anything about Starz HD carry date yet?

Of course all rumors seem to have exceptions. Here in Pittsburgh we are still waiting for INHD to debut from its Sept. 15 origination. I left Dish because they were always talking about the "green pastures of tomorrow." How ironic.

Well, here we go. HD saturation has hit the point where I have to pick and choose which HD channels I want- I can't afford all of them. Cinemax will probably be cropped just like HBO, so I will forgo it.

We need another movie channel competitive to HBO that's OAR.

I doubt the porn will be in HD. Hotime doesn't do theirs in HD (though they have the worst stuff ;) ). Cinemax said 80% (I believe that was the number) of their stuff will be in HD. Since they only show movies that should be enough room to fit all their softcore stuff and a few crappy movies too. HBO does 75% HD (I believe that's what is claimed) and they show orignal studio stuff (Inside the NFL, Bill Mahr's show, other sports stuff) that isn't in HD, plus boxing. But most of their movies are in HD.

Those low-budget movies most definately will not be HD. They're all shot on video anyways.

The rest of their catalog is the same as HBO, and they exchange back and forth- so any film shown on Max will eventually turn up on HBO.
