Apparently the James Toney vs Jameel McCline fight on Feb 7th will be true HDTV, according to the HDTV schedule on showtimes website.

Maybe all future fights in the championship series will finally be HD, or is this another abnormal blip on the HDTV radar, and they will go back to SDTV after this one.

Showtime has done 2 fights in the past in HD. Maybe they are getting with the program, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Yeah, when I read that I was terribly disappointed. I couldn't wait to see this fight. Hopefully Yoney's injury will fully heal.

It's pathetic that HBO, with all their money, can't do boxing in HD.
