[rant]I hate this kind of "research study." Watching TV does not cause obesity. Lack of exercise and poor diet, OTOH probably do. I'm sure people who don't excercise tend to watch more TV, but that doesn't mean that spending the time reading will be any better for you.
Does this study mean that if you go to the gym, and watch TV while on the treadmill, the benefits of exercise are negated?
Sorry for the rant, but these uncontrolled, pseudo-scientific studies that fail to distinguish correlation from causation really irritate me.[/rant]
