Took the plunge

After much debate and research on AVS forums, I finally made my choice for my first HDTV. I had it narrowed down to ethier the Sony 42" LCD Wega Projection or the Sony 34" XBR960. With the reviews here and in Consumer Reports I bought the XBR. I got it all hooked up and running well with my Comcast Motorola 6412 box and the HD programming is stunning. This tv is a replacement for my 5 year old RCA 32" that the tuner finally died in. The PQ between the two can't be compared at all. Sony knows there stuff when it comes to HDTV thats for sure.

Excellent choice.. I have the Sony LCD projection TV & the 960 blows it away in my opinion.. I wanted a bigger screen, & light, non bulky display.. HD braodcast still look good on my TV though..
Yeah Sony rocks, I never thought i'd say that after owning one of there rptv's.
