I currently own one of the Torrent Audio Mistral 12s and have, so far, enjoyed its output. I was wondering if ANYBODY knew of a place I could purchase another one. Mine is the DVC and would like to add another one just like it. I've looked at various forums and for sale sites and can NOT find another one. I have a behringer 2500 on my single 12 and it's not doing that amp justice plus, not to lie, I'm a bass head.

They're not for sale new anywhere that I know of. It's likely just a waiting game till one shows up new some where. Eventually one will surface, but you'll likely need to scour the car audio forums just in case. It'll also help to put some "want to buy" threads in various places. This thread was a good start.


Shameless plug but I am doing some "spring cleaning" of my unused audio gear, which will include 4, 12" DIYMA R12 subwoofers...just in case you were wondering

If I remember correctly, that Torrent driver is basically the same as the old

TC Sounds DB-500, less the Torrent logo on it's silver cone.


I have some "new" DB-500's still in the box, (no logo silver cone), but pretty sure their single 4-ohm.


Just another driver that should work spec/"TSP wise" with the Torrent you already have. Only problem being (possibly, the end channel ohm load) you need or are looking to achive.
