Toshiba 30HF83 Owners...

Yes, I'd like info, too. As I am thinkning of purchasing one of these units, as well.

I'm considering buying this set as well. The 30" 16:9 Samsung is less than the Toshiba, but after reading some discouraging comments I've become very interested in the 30HF83

I own an older model Toshiba widescreen 34" HDTV and I can say Toshiba is second only to Sony sets. Sony has a new 30" 16:9 HD set coming out in a couple months too.

Yeah, I've read a lot of bad things about those new Samsungs, it's much cheaper but I think I'm going with the Toshiba, the Sony is too expensive.

sony's expensive but worth it. toshiba has a 10-bit 3D digital comb filter and the samsung 8-bit. it also has a better remote, more inputs (and better placed) than the samsung. i guess the toshiba is the median between the $$$ony and the bargain shopper's samsung.

Yes. Beside the 30xbr910 there will be a 30hs510. Check the sears website.
