Toshiba 34HFX83 Service Menu?

Is there one? I have been reading a lot about the SONY's, but I think I want to go the Toshiba route. My main concern is will I be able to tweak it (with my new Digital Video Essentials DVD) enough? What is in the service menu?


Also, is it possible, I assume via the service menu, to change the grey sidebars when viewing SDTV (4:3) to black? Why did Toshiba make them grey anyway?

The previous Toshiba 34" models had a service menu, but changing the gray bars was not an option. You can however adjust geometry and overscan settings.
