Toshiba 37X3300C Short Review

947 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  tal.aloni
Today I was able to investigate about the Toshiba 37X3300C (37", Full HD, Matte bezel with gray speaker bar) at my local retailer (with a preloaded PCH-110 I brought from home),

It appears that this model was originally released only in the chinese market, and all reviews I could find were in chinese, so I was kind enough to post a short one in english.

I was successfully feeding 1080p @ 23.976, 24, 50 and 60 hz.

1:1 pixel mapping was working correctly (after choosing "exact scan" using the remote).

I got to mention that I felt that the sharpening mechanism was working "too well", and even when I turned it off (sharpening: 0),

I felt like it was still working: the small lines of text at the end of some trailers were too harsh, but I may be mistaken.

as to the more subjective tests, I've got to mention that the display room was not a good place for such a review,

but all in all, I was pleased with the picture quality (I've been there for 2.5 hours), I won't go into more details untill I'll have a better viewing environment.

Important Notes:

1. all menus were in english, but at one occasion, due to an invalid selection on my part, I got an error dialog in chinese.

2. mounting appears to be VESA 200 x 200 mm (or in close proximity, haven't actually measured)

I have no idea what you are talking about or what a Toshiba 37X3300C is.
It's an LCD TV made by Toshiba sold in China, Hong-Kong and Israel.
