My problem is that any time I select "Progressive Scan" from the front of the panel of the DVD player, my Toshiba goes black. I still get Audio feeds, but the DVI - Out just blanks out.
If I turn off Progressive Scan, the screen stays black for a couple seconds and blinks back in, but the PQ isnt what I would expect it to be. I have heard that DVI isnt that much different then Component, but I cant even seem to tell the difference between Svideo / DVI out the way I am setup now.
In the options of the TV I have 1080i Selected, with Warm Color settings / Movie Mode Setting, with Theater Wide 1 Screen size. Changing any of these options does not change the fact that with progressive scan enabled I can not get a feed out through my DVI, am I missing something simple here?
