I asked customer support what the street date for the 4700 was. This is what they told me:

They actually started shipping last week.

The 4700's are officially here... My distributer called and took my order yesterday. They sould be here 1st of next week.

It is here. I picked one up at my local Good Guys on my way home from work. I'll give it a spin when I finish with my trick or treating tonight. The price was $250 and a free full screen version of "Cats & Dogs". (Wow.)

(Drool...drool)...We are anxiously awaiting your review. I think that the 4700/5700 DVD's and the Zenith STB are the twi hot items that are being anxiously awaited. Please let us know how the 4700 is. Oh- and perhaps your previous DVD for comparisons? Thanks.
