I've been off & on with this TV for a while, and now the latest issue is that the HDMI ports have just stopped working; no picture at all on any of them. I've tried numerous hdmi cables and no luck. the component ports work just fine.

It would seem like I have to replace the main board; it would be more cost effective for me to do that instead of buying a new television (you've NO idea how bad I want to). I just called a parts store that deals with Toshibas and they said it wasn't necessarily a sure thing that the board is faulty, and that I should have someone look at it, but the tech wants $175 just to look at the tv.

I have no issues with power, I just get the 'no signal' box and the occassional blinking black screen when I switch to hdmi input. Would it be safe to just buy a new mainboard or am I overlooking something?

btw, the tv is out of warranty.

Any solution to this. Mine just did it.

Thank god I have component/composite/HDMI on the Toshiba Blu-Ray.

Is there a HDMI board on this to replace, or is it the main board?

Had the HDMI issue fixed under warranty when it had the sound issues. Now this?
