Curious if someone out there can tell me the proper way to set some service menu parameters, and the functions of others, on my Toshiba 56HM195. As far as I can tell the settings that adjust gray scale are R, G, B, cuts and drives these only set gray scale for standard def. material. Then there are CNTCR, CNTCG, & CNTCB listed in the service manual as center contrast R, G, B. These center contrast controls also seem to adjust gray scale, they effect both standard def. and high def. There seem to only be one set of these settings for all inputs, and scan rates. I've been searching for info on proper procedure for calibrating this set since I got it, the problem is no one can tell me definitively what the R, G, B, center contrast controls are for and how to properly set them. One thing I find odd is that this set seemingly has no way to correct gamma, and I thought perhaps these center contrast controls could be used for this?

The other parameters that have me completely stumped are the ones listed as, OPT1, OPT2, OPT3, PLLW0, PLLW1, PLLW2, PLLW3, PLLW4, & PLLW5, listed in the service manual as TV option 1, 2, & 3, & Phase Locked Loop Wait Time 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5. I've not been able to find any information on these whatsoever. If someone has any info on what these do and where you got your info please let me know. Even if there not anything useful I find it very frustrating that Toshiba keeps this info out of the service manuals. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
