In Sunday's paper, Best Buy is advertising a Toshiba 80 Hour DVR with progressive scan DVD/CD Player and it includes free TiVo Basic Service. It comes with TiVo Plus Service for free for three months with the option to "upgrade" to TiVo Plus. The price is $449 after rebate.


Maybe when DNNA moves to the next generation, the ReplayTV 6000 will have a DVD-RW to top that?!?

actually I think the rebate is only good if you pay to upgrade to the plus service. I guess tivo really doesn't want people to stick with the free tivo basic service
