toshiba cinema series

Hello AVS! long time reader first time poster. I have decided on a 56" toshiba dlp. I was going to go with the samsung but its height won't fit my wall unit(the bridge clears about 34 3/4"). My question is I am undecided between 56hm66 and the 56hmx96, the latter is labled as the cinema series and has a black cabinet. I want the black cabinet(it comes with a higher price tag) what is the difference between these two sets besides the finish that might warrant the purchase? how does it compare to the competition? thanks!

They are pretty much the same set. The HMX just has a few more features. I believe they are a VGA input, ethernet input and a 6 item remote versus a 4 item remote. The HMX is the enthusiast line that is not sold in the big chain stores. I'm not sure that the higher price is worth the extra features.
I just got the 56HMX96 about a month ago and love it. It also offers POP (picture on picture) that the 56HM96 does not. Didn't think I'd use it but have started to and I'm enjoying the feature. I only paid $100 more for the HMX over the HM. It looks great in the room with it's stand as well.
