Ok all, I am not new to this forum, but I am new in posting. I have learned many a thing from you all and I appreciate the well thought out answers to some of your problems..
Getting to my point. I am considering selling my Current Toshiba TW65X81 and replacing it with the Toshiba 65HDX82 Cinema Series.
The reasons:
1. Higher quality up conversion from previous model
2. Better CRT's and very good display of local cable.
3. My current Tosh, will not be worth much soon.
4. Connecting my new HTPC to the 65HDX82's DVI interface. (My dilemma)
Now here are my question(s):
1. What do you think my old TV is worth? ( have buyers willing to pay 1500)
2. I have searched far and wide.. but the answer eludes me, Does the DVI interface on the 65HDX82 allow for HTPC's to output res' higher than 640x480? Or, should I stick with a trans-coder and use the Component inputs? (currently have Trans-coder)
Again, I have Researched far and wide.. and I could not find a reasonable answer to the latter question.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
(by the way, I moved this post here from RPTV because it seemed more relavent to this forum.)
