I just recently purchased a Toshiba 40XV64U, and it was delivered yesterday. After a couple days with it, I was quite happy with it. This evening I was watching a movie, and all of a sudden the picture went haywire. I'm not entirely sure how to even describe it - it looks extremely pixelated, with large reddish and greenish pixels visible on the entire screen. It does this on every input. Has anyone heard of the Toshibas having this issue before, or is this just an isolated incident? I have a warranty, and a 30 day window to return the set. I'll probably see if they can fix it, or another option would be to exchange it for a Samsung B550, which is right around the same price.

Hmm, it looks a little bit like that, but not nearly as bad. You can still tell what's going on in the picture. Anyway, I've exchanged it for another one, which is coming tomorrow. If it happens again, I'll get a Samsung.
