I am stationed overseas, therefore the base exchange doesn't have the greatest selection of mid end LCD.

However, I did notice a nice looking Toshiba Regza 52" LCD. Its a multi-system version, meaning it can take 110-220 volts and others.

I haven't heard much on the forums about Toshiba, the display looks very impressive.

The other LCDs that look great are the Panasonic Viera and Sony Bravia models, but they only come in 46" at the biggest.

The Toshiba is selling for $3,300 and of course no tax.

I dont know which model that would compare to here in the states but toshiba makes a good tv. Especially in the regza line. They offer a very good value. They are very comparable to a sony or samsung but they just dont have the market share sony or samsung have. Mostly because they dont spend as much on advertising.
