I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I have a Toshiba TZ55X81 which is a 55" 4:3 HDTV set. I moved it over a month ago and the other night I finally got around to using the service mode convergence. I used a DVD with a test pattern to set the geometry and did the convergence using the component inputs (480i). Everything was fine. Then the next day, I tried to use one of the S-video inputs for my DSS and I only had half the picture on the left of the screen and the colors were all wrong. The menus still display on the full screen though. The TV still works great with the antenna input, composite input or component inputs. Did I possibly do something wrong or is it just a coincidence? Luckily, the set is under warranty, so I'm going to get them to fix it.

I read the article and it sounds like that is the problem that I have. I don't think I'll touch the service mode again after they fix it. Thanks for the help.
