Has anyone played seen or used the the new Toshiba 1280x720 projector? Looks like more competition for Sany and Sony in the 16:9 arena.

I saw this at the Infocomm shootout next to the Sanyo PLV60. I thought the Toshiba's High Defintion display to be better than the Sanyo, although several members of this forum disagreed. Regular definition sources resulted in a comparable picture, again to my eye.


I think this is worth checking out as it may be $1,000 cheaper than the Sanyo.

I saw this as well at Infocomm. I didn't think it compared at all to the Sanyo PLV60, sorry Norde.

Projector People did a shootout between the Toshiba, Sony vw10 and Sanyo PLV 60. First place Sanyo, second place Toshiba, and third place Sony VW 10. You may want to call them.
