Hi, I bought tis player with 4 HD DVD movies in Turkey a couple of months ago. When i played a SD DVD after tuning it to 16:9 ratio my LCD tv shows it smaller than normal. When i turn it to 4:3 , it shows full screen. Is it a problem from the machine or from something that i don't know?

Help please!Thanks

Is your SD DVD in 4:3 format? If it is this is normal. You need to use one of your display's zoom functions to view it full screen in 16:9 mode or switch your display to 4:3 mode if it is 4:3 aspect ratio display. Toshiba HD DVD players always display source material "as is" leaving black bars around picture if source is not 16:9 (at least when set to 16:9 in player's setup menu; I have never used 4:3 in player's setup menu so I do not know how it works).
