It won't have the security functions and profiles in the initial release though. Other than that it will have the main IR functionality such as IR dbase support, learn IR functionality, macro support, prebuilt GUI for device types, etc. So basically you can set this all up in less than 1/2 hour for many setups.
It will be missing punch through support in the initial version but you can override buttons with learned IR so you can basically punch through manually for now until we add it in.
On the hardware side it will support the bitwisecontrols BC4 and HAI HTX Home Theater Extender
Should be released within the month i believe directly via our website.
we support macros or 'programming' via the Bitwise Project Editor. You basically make the macro on there and upload it to the hardware unit. Then we call the macro in the app as shown in the video. So the short answer is yes it has a programming feature but the long answer is the 'programming' part is done with Bitwise's software not ours and uploaded to the Bitwise Hardware component and we call the 'programming' from there.
Getting closer...added a new video showcasing the setup UI and functionality such as user profiles, support for multiple hardware units, categories/subcategories (i.e. home vs, vacation home, living room vs. bedroom, etc.), device listings, favorites section as well as how quick it is to add a device into the app based on the built in IR dbase.
