i recently finished my first diy sub and was amazed at the quality of the outcome. I will say I'm now addicted to it and want to try and build some towers.

I have paradigm studio 60's and would like to build the quality / size of the 100's.

I haven't found much on building towers or where to source good drivers. Any support would be appreciated

Did you use a diysoundgroup flat pack for the sub? If you did, they also offer a 40" Tower Baffle. You could possibly put one of the kits, like the tempest, into a tower.

I'm building towers myself off the AE TD12X drivers, Seos12, and DNA-360.

Is width of the speaker an issue? If so, what is the max baffle width?

I built my sub box myself so am good to build the box.

As for price I was hoping to be around 1000 for the pair. Would go higher for good quality

The width I am thinking 10in

That's limiting. Is that all you can do or is it just an idea?

Statements are all I can think of OTTOMH.

Well first off you need to decide on what you are going to do about the crossover. Do you have someone that can help you with that? If not, then I would highly suggest going with a kit from someone such as DIYSoundGroup or Madisound. The Seos kits have gotten lots of praise for their performance. You could also do something like the Statements, as someone else suggested. I have heard great things about the Statements and Seos. If you want something that has really good sound quality for music, but still performs for movies, then I would suggest the Statements, if you have enough room to give them, due to their dipolar radiation from the mid-range chamber. I would also highly suggest something like the tower Seos12+JBL2226+DNA360 as that would give really good home theater performance. I would bet my next pay check that the Statements would most definitely best the Paradigm Studio 60's or Studio 100's any day!

Those statements are definitely nice looking.

He sure has made it easy to copy with all the details.

How much power do you think they could handle? I listen very loud at times and run my current speakers off a bryston 4b. Would that be an issue

I would say 60/40 music home theatre.

I built the Statements and they would be great for that purpose. Are you able to place them 2-3 feet from your front wall?

I could but wouldn't be ideal.

Would they handle the wattage from the bryston

The transmission channels on the back need some distance from the front wall.

Yes, they would be fine with that wattage.
